The Low Profile Floating Shelf Bracket by Federal Brace is designed to provide sturdy support with a shorter floating shelf profile. Featuring an all-new innovative gusseted support bracket, it improves the overall carrying capacity of the shelf while maintaining a thinner, aesthetically pleasing design compared to standard 2x4 framing or other metal brackets on the market. This bracket has an exterior "U" shaped support member that fixes to the wall using 1-inch slots cut into the back flange and includes a cross rib member to tie the support arms together for increased strength and resistance to deflection.
The Low Profile Floating Shelf Bracket comes in a powder coated gloss black finish, with sizes of 19.75"x8"x0.88", material thicknesses of 0.25" bracket and 0.12" rib, holes including 4 - 0.25" slots and 2 - 0.18" straight holes, and screws: (2) #8-32 x 3/4" Pan Head Screws (2) #8-32 Nuts (Included). The bracket offers a 50-pound carrying capacity when installed correctly and includes four slots for adjusting the placement as needed; these slots are sixteen inches on center. Arms extend from both ends of the bracket for insertion into the floating shelf box.
