White Oak Lumber - 5/4 Rift Cut Rough

  • Random widths and lengths
  • Grown primarily in the South, South Atlantic and Central States
  • White oak is mostly straight-grained with a medium to coarse texture, with longer rays than red oak, therefore, it has more figure
  • Sapwood is light-colored; heartwood is grayish to light and dark brown
  • Heavy, somewhat greater than red oak
  • Heartwood pores are usually plugged with tyloses, which tend to make the wood impenetrable by liquids - good decay resistance
  • Note: Quantity ordered refers to board feet
